Reminder: Check your battery ground to frame/transmission cable
I was having issues with harder than normal starting (in cold temps, winter here), and the gas needle sometimes doing a full turn and getting stuck under the pin (magnet trick to get it back into place).
Well, my + terminal was quite corroded also, and my battery needed to be changed, so I decided to have a look at the ground cable.
You need to : remove the airbox, battery, battery tray, and then you will see the cable where it attaches to the car frame, and then it goes to the transmission.
Well, my cable wasnt that bad until the car frame, and then, it was COMPLETELY broken before the transmission.
So, I cut it off after the frame point (and I grinded to bare metal on all connection points + some dielectric grease.).
Attached a 4 gauge cable from the frame to the transmission.
Changed the flimsy + terminal to a new bulky terminal.
Well, with all connectors/connections cleaned, and a new bracket, and a new ground to transmission, the car starts like a new one.
(I should get my grounding kit also this week, ordered one on this forum). Will give me a few more good grounds in case I have other OEM grounding points that are going weak with corrosion.
I've read that sometimes, when that cable breaks, the current will flow back by various ways and can fry the ECU and the coil packs, etc.
A good ground is very important, so check yours.

Just ordered a new OEM cable from nissan, 17$ here at my dealer
24080-8Y100
It's a 0 gauge so I would rather have a brand new 0 gauge from the battery to the frame, and transmission, and then install my grounding kit. I would not rely on a 4 gauge kit to compensate for a worn 0 gauge cable.
PM I got
"battery ground
Hey, I read your thread about the battery ground. I have a cold air intake, will i have to remove it to gain access to the cable? Also, if i install a grounding kit, will I still need to fix the cable if its broken?
My car starts hard, it doesn't hesitate or choke, but its starts hard and the idle is a little rough. could this fix it?"

very common issue. Happened on my sisters max, and fried a coil pack, cought it before it fried the ecu.
On my cousins car, it fried the coil packs and the ecu.
check your grounding cable people.

I got that new cable from nissan and put 2 coats of permatex liquid electrical tape where the other one failed. There is no insulation where it previously failed. With that coating, this one should last the life of the car.

Trans ground
Just changed engine in this car. The ground you are speaking of connects to trans from chassis. Very important. Look at left side of the rear of the trans for a metal prong this wire will plug in to. You may need to turn wheel all the way to the left and remove plastic dust shield to see it. Sorry I have no pics. This should be a.t. and m.t. related.
