How much money does a new transmission valve body cost for a 2004 Maxima?
I've read all about the Solenoid fix here but I'm just wondering what a new 5AT valve body costs from Nissan?

do NOT get a new VB from Nissan... NISSAN is what caused the problem in the first place. Go to Level10 and buy their VB because they have reworked the core so insure it never goes bad. Their VB is awesome and it fixed my trans problem. Also if you get the VB also ask for them to slap on a shift kit for ya.

just buy the 3 solenoids from somewhere a guy posted in the big thread and replace and done. 200$

or, remove yours and clean and re-install.

between 800 - 900....


not a hard replacement if you have a little mechanical help....and the right tools
