Replace Rim '08 Maxima
Finally decided to join the site after lurking the past cpl years.
I'm closing in on 3 years with my Maxima, finally put new tires on, $900 : / soo I was informed by the tire place that I have a bent rim possible from a pot hole. The roads here SUCK.
Is it possible to find somewhere that would sell ONE factory rim? I really do not want to buy a whole new set, if I have to then I'm considering getting something else.
Any recommendations on both options. Any input much appreciated. I'm located in Montana so my options are very limited locally.

You went to the tire shop to get the wheel checked so I assume you got the famous shimmy.
Oh I been thru this everybody in the forum can attest to it. Check the Salvage yards online some of the totaled 6gens have good wheels sitting around on them and also check ebay for singles.

What I was told is that eventually the tire will conform to the bent rim and I will then need to replace the tire (get a whole new set again). Im assuming this may be why my tire censor has been on the past few months. Even after they were rotated and the censor reset.
Thanks I will check with the Nissan here, hopefully they come up with a reasonable price. Wanted to charge me nearly $100 for an oil change since I hadnt bought the car from them

Gonna check with a local body shop that's been really good for me. See if they can locate a replacement.
Thanks also

Thanks for all the responses. Going to go weigh my options now.
A local body shop did mention they could either do some work on mine or locate another for around $200. Guess that isn't so bad, compared to buy a new set or brand new 1

Yeah, one brand new wheel can cost ~$300 or so after shipping. When the factory chrome wheels on mine died (previous owners didn't realize road salt can't stay on chrome. Rusted out the actual lip the tire mounts on, couldn't hold air), they were close to $400. I bought some gray Moda MD-14s (http://www.camaro5.com/forums/attach...1&d=1321412945) for $90 each and called it a day.
They look close enough to a stock style that people don't even notice the logo in the middle is a black MODA and not a small silver hamburger.

Yeah that's one thing about living up here. It just stopped snowing about a week and half ago. And I think the last time it actually stuck that we needed salt was mid March. But yeah there's salt on the roads from mid-late November thru March. I know it's killing the wheels I hate it.
Those Moda's are nice though I like em.
