Shaking when I brake.
#6
The brakes in the front are fresh and the rotors turned. I removed the caliper a while back after this was done because of a squealing noise to find out it was a metal cover behind the caliper rubbing on my rotor. I pushed the rams back in and put the caliper back on and now it seems like the brakes on this tire are being used more than the rest. Did I maybe not press the rams back in far enough?

I had all 4 rotors turned last time I did brakes, within a month I had all new rotors, because 2 attempts on the front, things didn't get better, replaced rotors. Still not smooth, they wanted to turn the rears again, I said hell with it just replace them, and like that problem solved. I've never known of rear rotors to warp, but I'm a believer now.

Well, I am almost convinced that it is something I did when taking the calipers off and putting them back on. And now that I think of it, the front rotors are new and the back ones were the ones that were turned. I am just not sure what is the problem seeing as how I am nowhere near a mechanic.

I've tried every aftermarket rotor from autoparts stores out there, and they all eventually warped and gave me vibration. Problem stopped once I switched to EBC slotted and partially drilled, NOT all the way through ( I think they call them chamfered, but not sure) rotors. This is my true experience with these rotors, I do not work for EBC and I am no getting paid for this post. thanks.

I did the whole taking the cap off the brake reservoir and pushing the brakes all the way in and having someone cap the reservoir and it seemed to help alot but not completely. What else could I do to get rid of the shaking?
