Floor pan rust Question

Floor pan rust Question

Hi Experts,
my 04 maxima started to have floor pan rust. is it safe to repair this floor pan rust ?
and how much would it cost from regular machanic?
below link shows how someone fixed it.. my main question is, is it safe ?

nissan sells a pretty cool kit that fixes that issue. comes with both floor pans.

Sure, it's safe. People have been replacing floor pan rust in the exact manner shown in the how to video for years.
