04 No Heat on driver side

I have a 04 Maxima, I turned the heat on yesterday and noticed that on the driver side I get cold air only and on the passenger gets heat. I try the resetting procedure but nothing.
I've read couple articles that mention a door actuator but I cant find any pictures or ways to pull that actuator out. I looked by the gas pedal and see two black boxes (modules) attached to the unit .. which one is the actual blend door actuator. Please help freezing my feet!!

Thanks Dennis, this past weekend I was messing with it, and noticed that when the fan is at full blast some warm air comes out.. Could it be the core is clogged? I looked at Courtesy nissan web and could not find a listing for the door actuator. I looked under HVAC

There is only one heater core, so I doubt if that is the problem. Can you tell if the motor is working to move the door?

Here is a parts drawing. The motor is part code 27733N, along the left edge of the drawing. put the mouse pointer on the code number and it shows you the actual part number, which is 27732-8J100.

On Courtesy Nissan it is under HVAC/EVAPORATOR & HEATER COMPONENTS, component # 14.

I replaced the Mix door motor(27732-8J100) and still dont get any heat, is there a fuse that controls just that motor,
I also notice that my roof switch to open and close does not work but the one on the right to tilt does. Every thing started since my battery went dead and replaced it. I'm gonna try turning the door manually and see what happens

There are no fuses for any of the motors, they get their power from the control panel in the dash. Since the other side works, the fuse to the control panel is good.

The control panel (that Nissan calls the "Unified Meter and A/C Amplifier) has a microprocessor in it. Perhaps a spark happened when the battery was replaced and the microprocessor is "confused". Turn the heater controls to OFF and disconnect the battery. Wait about 30 minutes (longer if you want) and then re-connect the battery and see if this helped. It may or may not.

When you disconnect the battery, the radio will lose the station pre-sets, so write them down in case you don't remember all of them.
