Help

My 2006 maxima dies while I am driving, but the lights stay on. I replaced the camshaft sensor, but that didn't work. Can anyone tell me what else it can be?

Do you have a check engine light? Normally if the vehicle cranks ok but dies when driving, then starts again after the engine cools down it is the crankshaft sensor not the camshaft sensor. The crankshaft sensor get hot while driving and fails, then cools down and works again until the engine gets hot again. If the sensor is bad be sure and replace with OEM sensor not aftermart. Camshaft sensor normally causes the vehicle to be hard to start and hard/bad automatic transmission shifts but normally will not shut off the engine. Good luck
