Yes my name is Steven I just got a Nissan maxima 2007 3.5SE I took it 2 several mechanics and I got P0705 code which I was going 2 fix until I went 2 a different shop and 3 new codes pop up once dis new shop scan my car P0715 P0710 and P0746 at this shop the guy told me it would be best if I just changed the transmission but I don't want 2 go put out thousands of dollars and still have the same problem so I was wondering for sum1 opinion on wat I should do should I fix everything and not listen 2 the guy since this is the first time of me hearing of the other 3 codes or should I just change my whole transmission??

I'm not sure what the codes mean but have some advice. First Nissan has extended the warranty on CVT transmissions to 130k miles no matter how many owners.
On EBay you can buy a a product called a Elm327. They come for android or iPhone. It comes with links for free software. It plugs into your OBD under your dash. It reads codes and can reset them. It costs about $15.00
If one of your codes is EVAP related you must fix that first. A bad EVAP problem will cause other fault codes to pop up for no reason. I have had 6 Nissans, 3 have had SES light problems.

All codes are related to the CVT. Code P0705-Neustral postion switch, P0710-Fluid temp sensor circuit, P0715-Input speed sensor circuit and P0746-Pressure control solenoid "A" performance.
Do not where you live but find the best transmission shop is you area and have them look at the transmission. It is my understanding the Nissan is not providing repair parts for the CVT therefore, independent shops can not repair the tramsmission but should be able to advise you on what to do.
I thought that Nissan had extended the warranty on the transmission to 10 yrs or 120K but it may be 130k.
