HELP PLEASE - Pioneer AVH4100NEX install question.
All, just had a AVH4100NEX installed in my 2004 Maxima with Bose/No Navi. Local shop installed it. After coming home I noted a couple "issues" I will be going back to have addressed and wanted to reach out to see if anyone had answers for. I've searched for specific answers on this site but could not locate them unfortunately:
1. Stock info screen works for Heat/Ac Controls and Outside Temp however the Time is not displayed or the Maintenance Information. Is this caused by a ground wire being attached wrong? I would greatly appreciate if anyone can let me know how to advise them to fix this issue for this to work.
2. They had a difficult time getting the Double Din Pioneer unit to fit. While it looks okay it still seems as if the unit is tilted up. Any tips or tricks I can provide them so it fits more flush?
3. I purchased the Metra Kit when this was installed, after installation there is a gap below the AC/Heating controls. This in turn causes the AUTO mode button to get stuck when pushing it in. This seems to be tilted back as well. Any suggestions other that grinding the top down to allow more room? Seems like it needs to be angled forward more to adjust both it and the Double Din unit.
Heading back to the installer next week, any ideas/tips I can advise them would GREATLY be appreciated!
Thx!
