Does anyone know why the 2008 (6.5 gen) maxima's cut power past 75 mph when flooring it. if so how do you get rid of it?

Maybe we are talking about 2 different things, but with a CVT you can't really floor it, as most of the power comes with less pedal, only get to the floor when you reach top speed, even then, it's speed limited...can't remember where, but I think it was around 130 or so the google search says. I never got mine 07 above 110 best recollection. I just don't think I ever got more power putting it to the floor then keeping it somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 pedal even from a takeoff.
