I have recently acquired a 2004 6spd and although my current plan is to keep it stock and not put much money into it, knowing myself I'm not sure how realistic of a plan it is. So I'm doing some research on how I can cheaply get more bang out of the car.

I will be selling my 5.5 gen but thinking of pulling off some performance parts I could possibly slap on my 6th gen. If I end up doing headers (or dare I say gutting the precats), I would definitely want a tune... and thats where the Emanage Blue from my 5.5 gen could come in handy. Obviously, as long as it worked with the 6th gen. Something I'm trying to get some info on.

I could only find one thread where someone inquired about using it on a 6th gen and was told not to due to some story about it frying coils on the 5.5 gens. It's the first time I heard about it having any issues on the 5.5 gen. I know several people have successfully used the EB on a 5.5 gen, and that includes me (for more almost 60k miles without burning any coils).

Can anyone think of reasons why the EB wouldn't work on the 6th gen? Could it be that nobody has tried it?
