06 Max temp gauge going up at idle?

06 Max temp gauge going up at idle?
I have a 2006 max, today I noticed at my house at idle the temp was going up. I took it for a drive and the temp went back to normal. I took a look at the coolant expansion tank and that was full. I also looked at the radiator as well and there was coolant in it. When driving it’s normal. At idle temp rises, but not to to HOT mark but the section were cold and the line end. Help! I’m a mechanic and I need some general thoughts on these cars.
