2007 starts in high gear but shifts manually ok

Hello,
Our 2007 just started not to shift? From the start there is no power if you give it gas. If you manually downshift and give it gas it goes like it should.
I'm thinking the CVT is having trouble but after reading on the forum maybe it is something with the speed sensor?
I took out the ABS fuse and the car still did not shift right.

What should I do nest? How do I check the speed sensors or should I change the trans oil?
Thank you.

I was going to go clean the rear ABS sensors but I feel like i'm wasting my time. When I pulled the fuse the problem was still there?

I don't buy it. How did you pull your codes?

And forget about the ABS. Totally unrelated system.

Don't guess.

Computer controlled cars, folks. Scan tools are a requisite if you want to work on them.

I briefly had a similar problem, it was the brake switch sensor being engaged when my foot wasn't on the brake. It would shift in manual mode but wouldn't downshift in drive. Cruise control also would not engage.
