I have search all over, can not find the problem that im having. i own a 06, after engine is warm a whistle or whine is heard. The noise does not sound like it increases or decreases with engine speed. When car is shut off it sounds like it "decompresses"
I have removed both belts and noise is still heard does not change in any way.
i did find a vacuum hose with a hole in it replaced hose, no change to noise.
found another hose with a slight leak replaced that hose, still no change to noise.
i thought it maybe coming from water pump, replaced water pump still no change
the cars performance does not seem to be affect by this noise. It is just annoying.


i m at my wits end please let me know if anyone else ran into this problem
