Brake lights stay on. Even though I replaced switch

Help me! Brake lamps stay on and cruise control blinks when I try to set speed
replaced the switch. No go,
started pulling fuses and found the fuse was blown. Replaced it and still on.
I was wondering if it could be a bad ground, so then I noticed directly below the brake lights fuse it’s a 10 amp labeled electrical parts. I pulled it out and it’s not blown out but the tail light went off and are acting normal now. So I left it out

This is where im going to confuse you.
Shift lock will not disingage from park and my blinker indicators on the dashboard only work when I put my foot on the brake...
i manually put it in drive and went home .( 60 miles ) drove fine . Still won’t go in park unless I manually depress the button next to the shifter . I need a lil help fellow maxima errrrs

Just a shot in the dark, but is your dome light switch broken or doesn't work right? for the 04-06 model years, the dome light switch was garbage and I think it could short the fuse it shares with the brake lights, though I would think that would keep your brake lights off instead of on...

Wouldn't hurt to take a look.
