2007 Maxima wont Rev past 2000 pms in reverse
I was having transmission issues after the car would warm up so I figured I would try replacing the valve body, after a failed eBay buy I decided to find a crashed one at the junk yard and replaced it. After the install the car wouldn't Rev past 2000. I went back to the junk yard and took the tcm from same car hoping that would work. After I replaced the car went into reverse so I went out for a drice and it had no problems.
When I put it in reverse the same thing was happening.
The next thing I am planing on doing is put the old tcm back and then open the tranny and replace it with my old electronic to see if that helps.
Before I do that I want to see if anyone can help.
Thanks in advance

Just wanted to follow up with everybody on what's been going on and what I have done since I posted the above. First i am going to apologize for not knowing the name of some of these parts.
I was moving the car out on the street to park it and the reverse started working again (it had about a 3 second delay before it went in reverse) but it at least started working. This morning i took it out for a quick test drive and again drive works without a problem and when i put it in reverse it still did the 3 second delay but i think i can live with that for now.
I hope this helps someone out there.
- I installed the TMC unit from the car i took the valve body from thinking the computer wasn't communication correctly with the new one. (That didn't work)
- I then installed my original TMC and i drained the ATF again first to flush the fluid again and 2nd to replace an electronic part from my old valve body thinking that would work but i still had the same issue
- I replaced the MAF sensor (granted it was a cheap one from Amazon for troubleshooting reasons) and then I noticed that my air filter was filthy and replaced that as well. ( while parked in my driveway it didn't seem to work).
- I tried the reving up to 5K to see if limp mode was going to reset the computer and still nothing. I was ready to give up and part the car out.
