My check engine light has always been on since i got my 2008 maxima well it started flashing so i pulled into oriellys and had them hook it up to see what was going on. It gave several codes it said multiple misfire #6 and and something like evap so had the plugs changed and also somethung on #6 well the light went off and i drove home about 10 miles and it started doing the shuttering thing well then the next day went about 2 miles and light came back on and it tries to stall at a complete stop or in reverse

 

Is the light still flashing when you drive?

 

You have one or more bad fuel injectors. Per the FSM, you shouldn't drive the car until the issue is resolved.

Sounds like at least some of the coil packs are bad and need to be replaced. What are the exact trouble codes?
