Loose battery

Hi! Sorry in advance that this is probably a stupid question to ask, with an obvious answer but I recently bought an 06 Maxima and sometimes it won't start because something's going on with the battery - the battery is good as far as I can tell, but it doesn't seem secured to much, maybe only staying in by the terminals, but it can pretty easily shift around. I can always get it to start fine if I just pop the hood and twist the terminals around a little... My ? Is what do I need to buy to secure the battery in place? & Also, is the moving around anything to do with why it won't start sometimes? Thanks in advance!

Yes, you are correct. The battery should not be moving around. You will have to figure out what you have and what you need. The pic should help you.

Go to your local salvage yard and see if they have a Maxima to scavenge the parts from.
