The most reliable 2007 maxima putt putted on me!!!! WTF

I took this 134k mile Nissan maxima with NO major prior problems to a local auto shop to get it diagnosed turns out it needs new steering rack the seal is broken on the passenger side. Causing power steering fluid to leak. The day after I got it diagnosed, at 9pm im driving on the highway then when I’m getting near the exit the RPM sticks around 4000 on the meter. I ease my foot off the gas to try to make it go lower then I press back. 30 seconds later the “service engine soon” light came on then the car loses all acceleration power. Luckily I had enough inertia to roll to a safe spot. When the car stopped I check the hood there’s a big puddle of oil that spilled from the passenger side. And smoke coming from the engine. Plus most of the smoke coming from the oil insertion on the engine. The car turned on fine with only a little stutter and at some times it didn’t want to turn on but when I put the gear into drive or reverse the car doesn’t move as if it’s in neutral, the engine revs but no movement so it seems like transmission. I didn’t hear any thing fall off the car when driving, also when I looked at the bottom of the car when on tow truck I didn’t see anything wrong on the bottom just seen everything soaked in oil. Oil sputttered everywhere anyone That can help me efficiently and give good game m I would gladly pay

Gotta start with the obvious. Since you have "'service engine soon" light on, you'll likely have trouble codes. Pull the codes and report back.
