2005 Maxima Auto to Manual Swap – Need Help/Parts Advic

Hey everyone,
I’ve got a 2005 Nissan Maxima 3.5L V6 automatic and I’m planning a full manual swap to wake it up and make it fun to drive. I’ve already done a lot of research and I know the RS6F51H 6-speed from the 04–06 Maxima SE and 04–06 Altima 3.5 SE/SE-R should work.

I just want to confirm a few things from someone who’s done the swap:
  1. Is the Altima SE/SE-R 6-speed 100% compatible for the Maxima swap (mounts, sensors, axles)?
  2. What full parts list do I need beyond the trans? (Clutch pedal, master/slave, mounts, flywheel, ECU, etc.)
  3. Did you use the stock Maxima ECU and just reflash/tune it with UpRev?
  4. Any issues with the starter, wiring, or neutral safety bypass?
Any tips, guides, or parts for sale would help a lot. My dad and I are doing this together, so we’re ready to wrench. Appreciate any help or first-hand experience.
Thanks!

You'll need trans side axle for manuals, Upper oil pan is slightly different, Crank sensor.
If your in there anyways change the rear main since you'll be swapping the upper pan.
I didn't do a manual swap, as my Max was already a manual. I know this because I had to motor swap an auto trans VQ35.
