Not quite the blast he expected...

The suspension is different. But by how much? I've only driven the sport.

The paddles are also nice to have.

But if you don't think the differences warrant the difference in price, then the best thing is to not pay the difference in price.

I definitely that I would get blasted for appearing "cheap". So thanks for everyone going easy on me. I test drove one with the Sport package before I bought mine and the things I noticed (but not much) was that you felt bumps a slight bit more and less body roll when taking corners. But these are things with all cars between regular suspension and a sportier one. The paddle shifters I have never used so I will never miss, I don't use a GPS system now so no need for Nav system, Tennessee sun gets hot so I have always hated leather and I will probably get new rims so no need for Nissan's 19". So for me, I was looking for size, comfort and power and I definitely got it.

I went to Downtown Nashville Nissan. I dealt directly with the general manager so I didn't have to dink around with a salesman that would have to go back and forth to the GM.

My only regret is the price of the maxima. I was very close to a fully loaded Accord V6 but ended up at Nissan. Lower teh price the better. I cut the nav to knock off a couple grand myself. SV with Sport is more than I should be spending anyway!

Certainly makes sense to me.

Suspension is exactly the same for all '09 Maximas from base 'S' to ultra-loaded 'Premium' except for those equipped with the 'Sport' package.

I went down to 2 dealerships today, here is the best offer I was given.

I trade my 07 Maxima in w/ 3 pymts of 466 left on the lease, I put down 1300 cash, I walk out paying $529.00 a month for 09 SV with sport + tech (navi) package. 39 months 15k yr.

Right now I have 30k on my car, 2yr lease with 15k a month. If I wait till the end of my lease I am probably going to be over 4500 miles approx which equals to about $675.00 which the dealer might eat, but i am not sure what kind of lease deals they will have.
Plus I will be making 1398 in remaining pymts.

I was also considering the sport w/out tech package, but it would only save me like 25-30 a month.

I really wanted to be @ 450 a month with sport & 500 with navi & sport, but these guys are not budging. I have been dealing with them since Saturday.

Do you guys think this is a good deal? How much are you guys paying for lease with same options?
