I have actually seen an auto air freshner labeled 'New Car Aroma' at a few auto parts stores.

I have also read articles that said the 'new car smell' always present in new cars is an unhealthy and somewhat toxic chemical hodgepodge being emitted from materials used to make the interior of the car. I try to sit my new car out in the hot sun for hours with the windows closed, letting the heat leach the chemicals from interior materials. Then I open the doors and leave them open until the hot air escapes. I do this often the first month I own a new car.
