I really want to change my interior lights to the white LEDs as shown in the original post. Will the bulbs described in the original post work for a 2012 Max? Thanks

Also, they do not have the bulbs that shoot light in one direction, however, they do still have the ones that emit light in all directions. Would it be ok to use those for the feet lights, license plate lights and trunk?

I want to make sure I order enough

2 for the map lights, 2 for the back seat lights, 4 for the door lights, 2 for feet lights, 1 for trunk (?), and 2 for license plate??

So 7 pairs of these should work? http://www.v-leds.com/HID-6K-WHITE-5...-p4481039.html

What's throwing me off is the number of sides a bulb gives off light. Is there any reason other than cost that you would want a bulb to not give off light in all directions? Aren't the OEM incandescent bulbs giving off light in all directions? Even if the bulb primarily faces you from the side, I think having it give off light in all directions can only add luminosity. Some will be reflected (even off black surfaces).

Also, bulb length was mentioned once. I am new to LED automotive bulb replacements, but generally speaking, a 194 bulb is a 194 bulb. It either meets the spec or it doesn't. Is this the case here?

Same ones I got, I was happy with them. White with a slight hint of purple and they look very nice, I get compliments on them. I would never pay $50 for LEDs.
