FYI to any one looking for 22s there are some brand new 22" staggered Vossen rims on ebay with a buy it now for $1,900 obo. The description says they fit a Maxima. The seller has 0 feedback though.

19" x 8.5" Axis Shines

Whatsup all, this is my first post. I've lurked this forum since the summer when I got my maxima, and I ended up hitting a road hazard and putting dents in 2 of my stock 19" rims, so I opted to move to a set of aftermarkets. I reviewed this whole thread for ideas so thanks to all who have contributed.

I went with the Shines by Axis, and just got my car back today so here is a pic with crappy lighting, but you can see how they look.

Btw, I still have two perfectly fine stock 19" wheels that come with the sport package, and two that are slightly bent but can probably be fixed if you know what you're doing. Hit me up if you're interested.

Good looking wheel I think a 20 or 22 would look great I am thinking of doing 22 inch vossen cv1 w/ coilovers staggered. I do think the 20s look perfect on these cars when lowered

21" would actually be ideal but 22 inch can be good to but 22" can sometimes look a little too big and 20" can sometimes look a little too small.

20" can be done with a full face monoblock design that makes it appear to be bigger.

I like the stock 19" rims, but I am considering getting mine powder coated to the color of my old Prodrive PFF7's in bright flitter that I had on my 05' Legacy GT.

Looked like this. Figure the bronze like color would look good against my white paint. It certainly kicked *** on my white Subaru.

But I sort of think that I want some wheel spacers, but I have heard bad things about them mostly. So I am considering different wheels as well. The Enkei GTC01's look pretty slick in Hyper Black.

Definetly not the best but my favorite are the 19 Enkei wheels the Maxima comes with in the sport version. When the dealer told me I cant have those with the glass roof I knew I must get them and so I did. Very happy with the results.

Should never add bigger or heavier rims if you want to make a car faster. I am staying stock rims and going to powdercoat them. SLEEPER!!

I just bought a 09 Maxima last night and it came with the 18" Chrome Rims.

Does anyone know what brand of rims that are on ANNINO Car?

Also what size?

After consideration, I am pretty certain I may have to get the Vossen CV2's with the black and machined face. Think they would look pretty good on my white Max. Now how can I convince my wife that I "need" them. If I do, do I go staggered or no?

However I also like the Forgestar F14's in gunmetal.

Staggered is useless on fwd. Some people laugh at a fwd with staggered wheels. But if you like the way it looks, then do it.

Do I like the way it looks, well yeah I supposed it "looks" a tiny bit better. But like you said it is useless for a FWD so I certainly do not feel compelled to go the staggered route especially if it is potentially detrimental to handling or performance.

Go staggered the fenders are so big on these cars that's why the staggered looks so good

Which offset would be the correct one? The CV2's come on 44mm offset with the 20x8.5 or 32mm with the 20x9. I believe I read that 35mm was about perfect, but would like clarification.

32 would be ok for 8 or 8.5. with a 9 and 32 offset it might stick out just a little. if you got a 44 and they don't stick out enough at least you could use spacers. but if the 32 sticks out too much, you're pretty much stuck.

These are 20x9 Axis Angles all around but does anyone know the offset he used? This is the exact look I'm going for. He hasn't had any forum activity since 2010

VOSSEN VVS-CV2 20x9

All this talk about CV2's, I'm glad I ended up getting them. Here are some pics of the new wheels and tires. Eibach Pro Kit on Thursday to bring it all together. All machine finish with chrome lip.
