Those are some nice wheels cfoley, they look small for 19 though, its prob that lip that makes them look like that.

Thinking about 20x9s all the way around so I can rotate my tires.

What's the largest tire size I can go with a 1" drop without worrying about rubbing at all? Not too concerned with the extra bagage look, more about not scratching up the wheels and comfort.

Would something like 255/40/20 work? Any pros or cons towards my above goals or can I got wide/taller?

How about offset? What's a good offset and can I use spacers somewhere to make them look more even? If so what size spacer?

Thanks for the help.

I am possibly interested in upgrading my rims and personally had an old cts with 20's and with the chicago weather had to swap obviously the sets back and forth come winter time...with my 09 maxima with the factory 19's i kind of like them with the more polished look or possibly chromed..has abyone out there had this done to their factory wheels and if so can you post pictures? What is the going rate of chroming or polishing the factory 19's that come on the 2009 maxima....

thanks out there...

why wont 20 offset work? and u think 8.5 for front and back? they come in 9.5 and 10, also cars dropped i dont wanna worry about rubbing

20 offset will stick out too far. 9.5 in front would be a pretty tight fit. especially since its lowered.

If you're ordering. I would just get 8.5s all around. Your car is lowered, if the 9.5s rub in the back, your kinda stuck. If you got them locally, they can test fit before you buy em.

Just got the 20's on. It got dark before I could take the pics but you get the idea. I ended up with Giovanna Kilis 20x8.5 with 35mm offsets. Now I just need some coilovers to get this thing dumped.

^^ i really like that, idk if its the wheels or what but the way you painted the front black down from the grill looks awesome as well as the stillen front lip, i know ur looking for coilovers but how much did you drop it? im assuming there was a drop with springs, even 20's dont fill out that wheel well gap

It's sitting on eibachs so 1.4" drop I think? It's just a piece of vinyl on the front bumper and the top of the stillen lip.

well looks good regardless of the simplicity of a vinyl overlay lol, i was just curious about ur drop cause i have eibachs and a stillen front lip on the way but i live in ny so im trying to find a good drop height that wont mess with the front lip too badly with all these potholes haha

Thanks guys. The tires are the same size pretty much everyone has gotten, 235/75's? They do look big though. When they drove it out of the bay I was kicking myself for not doing 19's, but it's growing on me. I think once I get the coilovers I'll be more happy with it.

Rking21: Dude I just went to Discount Tire, told them the wheel I wanted and they had it there the next day. But post pics when you get them on, the lip on those rims is going to look sick.

Naw that not the problem, the problem is Giovanna hasn't even started to mass produce them so they keep pushing back the expected delivery date. Smh they keep askin if I want to just get something else but I'm to attached now!

WAY off on that tire size I posted earlier, the tires are Falken FK 452 - 243/35/20. I would have loved some Toyo's but they gave me the tires for $130 each and couldn't resist.

*edit: 245/35/20. Third time's the charm.

Now I don't know which to go with the silver machined or the black machined. Which do you guys think would look better, the car is precision gray.
Mine is precision gray and i have the machine silver

Looks great! Exactly what I was gonna try on my white one. Maybe do a thin red pinstripe to outline it and match some black/redstripe rims...(thinking out loud)

Cars are fun, thanks for posting!

TK, you can't do that. I already have a white one w/black rims, candy red pin stripe & painting the front section w/a candy red outline (similar to that found on the VW R32 or 33 I believe)..... AND I'm a stone's throw away from you, LOL. No bueno
