40 is the aspect ratio (or profile) ... it refers to the tire height as a percentage (or ratio) of the tire width. So in this case the profile would be 245 mm x 0.40 = 98 mm.

19 is simply the diameter (in inches) of the wheel that the tire will be mounted.

DWS wheels are a good brand (IMO) and the wheels you're looking at are pretty nice.
Thanks for the info. This may be a dumb question, but why can't I just use the tires already on my Maxima? And just purchase the set of rims.

To be honest I don't know. I'm assuming whatever the stock tires on a 09 Maxima SV w/ Premium pkg(if the package matters).

I just had to roll the rear fenders. I did them myself using the heat gun and wooden bat method. Was kind of hesitant at first, but worked out great. paint didn't crack at all.
The rim was touching the shock in the front or back wheel well? I was quoted 38 per wheel to roll the fenders. Maybe I would try it. Im decently handy. I love your setup. 20x10.5 all around. Concave! Thats what I am going to do. Are you a DD?

Is a 10.5 with a 25mm offset going to stick out too far?

Want my Vossen CV1s

I'm definitely feeling those Vossen CV1s. Love those wheels, and I think they would be epic on my 2012 SV. Got a buddy tryin' to hook me up with a set through a sponsorship deal, but we'll see.

Not really a fan of ANY of the chrome on the 7th gens, but that's my opinion. More power to all of you with chrome wheels, just not my thing.

BTW, I was wondering if anybody knew what wheels CustomLowz has (or had) on his Max? The pic he has in his about me section (http://forums.maxima.org/member.php?u=14982) and sig has me intrigued. I love that concave look, and I'm trying to find some alternatives for if the Vossen's don't pan out. Any ideas?

Anyone here running 20x8.5 +40 wheels with spacers? If so, how many mm on the spacer you went to go flush to the fenders? I'm getting my fender's rolled very soon by the way so I don't mind poke on coils

What's up guys. I have a 2012 S and I'm looking to run the XXR 531 in 19x10F and 19x11R 19x10 all around. My question.... is this doable? If so, what tire size could I run? I'm on a 2" drop right now. Thanks in advance
