All prices plus tax. 2011 has 2 years of maintenance included. Wanted my sport wheels but dealer would not take them off due to warranty issues. O well I think I got a great deal.
That's pretty slick deal. It's my first purchase, didn't know too much how to negotiate. I got mine for [34,492 VPP - 4000 rebate] 30,492 [OTD 34,000 with tax] [Add more 2G for financing]

Since your already owned a 2010 max, Is it good to get chip protector for the car, dealer quoted it for 1000$. Also how to protect rear bumper, I'm seeing a small chip already on the back .

Hi All,

I've just joined the forum and I am from down under (Australia)!
Just to give you guys a heads up, here we do not get the US model maxima. We get the Asian Nissan Teana! They love it in China! It is similar to the US maxima, but looks different on the front and we do not get a lot luxury options like you do. Personally, I like the front look of the US Maxima more!

Anyways, we managed to get one for about AUD33,000.00 brand new, on the road, for 3.5L V6 VQ CTV model. We also get a cheaper 2.5L V6 here, but it's a dog on the road. You need at least 3.5L V6 to move the beast! Personally I would not mind a Nissan VQ40DE 4.0L V6 under the bonnet!

Currently trying to buy the rear deck trim from the BOSE equipped 2010-2011 US Maxima so we can fit rear 6x9 speakers. The stock non BOSE sound system in our cas is shockingly bad!

Cheers!

Hello,

I am new to the forum but have been reading for quite a while. I have driven Maximas for over 20 years and am ready to buy my next one.

I do have a question and could use some advice.

I will begin shopping for an SV with premium and tech package. Many dealers have Internet prices and of course there is TrueCar.Com.

I have a VPP plan through my employer. I dealer I just spoke with swears that I will get my best price (by far) with VPP. He says "this is your lucky day".....

Of course, I have heard things like this before.... If he is right, that makes things easier. Just looking for opinions.

new car buying question.

Im seeing $3000 incentive going on right now for 2011 MAX.
i know that cant combine with 0% apr.
my question is, can i buy out the car straight with cash to take that $3000 incentive offer?
or do i have to finance through Nissan to take that $3000 incentive?

and does the $3000 automatic take off from my paying price? or is it like a rebate or soemthing?

never brough a new car. thanks for any input.

Just traded in my 2009 for a 2011 earlier today, the $3K rebate is a instant discount off the price of the car and you're not required to finance, you can pay cash if you desire.

I'm looking to get a SV with Premium, Tech, Spoiler, Splash Guards, and mats.

With the incentives, the best I'm getting now is about $33,700.

This includes Destination charges.

If I can find a color I like, I guess I will own a new Maxima.

Dealers all see to have a funny way of figuring out sticker price when they email me.

I'm looking for an SV with Sport, Tech, Splash Guards and mats. I have gotten two no-haggle prices. One is Navy Blue for 32,473 and the other is Silver for 31,999. Both of these are with the $3000 rebate and before TT&L. I am hoping that Nissan will add one more incentive before the end of August but I will probably buy the silver one in the next couple of weeks.

Some of you are getting what seems like fantastic deals....

I'm ready to pull the trigger, and the best I seem to be able to do is about $7,600 off of sticker. That seemed pretty good to me...

Others seem to have done much better. Congrats.

I've had to resort to making dealers give me an "out the door price" because many seem to have included fees on top of the original price they gave me. Now I can compare apples to apples.

Hope to own one within a week

It seems like some of the variance in discounts people are getting has to do with when the car was manufactured. I called a dealer today trying to get a deal. He matched the discount I got from the other dealer but the price was still $1,000 higher. The cars were identical in specifications but one was manufactured in July and the other last November before the tsunami. When I compared the MSRPs there was $1,000 difference. This was on a car with the sport and tech package.

I have not seen the MSRP change from car to car (with the exception of dealer add ons).

I just gave a deposit today.

White SV with Premium and Tech Package
Spoiler
Splash Guards
Floor Mats
MSRP - $41,110
Purchased for $8k off sticker.
The only added cost was Tags, Title, Docs ($200) and Sales Tax.

Another dealer gave me a quote about $200 cheaper, but I preferred to stay with a local dealer who was very nice.

I'm happy. It was a very painless negotiation process. The internet really helps.

Pick it up on Saturday.
(Assuming they get my phone to work)
When I test drove, it would not download the contacts. I would like that to work.

i went and test drove a used 2010 maxima sv sport today. i came to the conclusion that the maxima will be my next car. i have been looking at acura tls, optima sx, maxima, avalons, i feel the maxima is the best compromise of sport and luxury.

now im having a hard time deciding on whether i want the sport with tech or the premium with tech

any insight??

I would have bought the 2010 black maxima sport, but it had 22,000 miles on it and they wanted $30,999. Lmao it didnt even have the tech package. ill pay the extra 3gs to get brand new.

Sport has a pretty harsh ride...consider yourself warned.

I got it because of the wheels too, but the ride is quite harsh because of suspension settings. If its just about the wheels, I can sell you my stock 19"

i am realizing that prices in new jersey are about $2,000 less than the prices here in upstate NY. Sucks because i dont wanna drive 300+ miles to get a car. and the dealers up here wont budge on the price of $34,979.

since it is towards the end of the year, can all of these sales and discounts be considered for a lease. A Maxima S with nothing on it has a sale for around 32,000 making the lease cost around 330/month for it, since some of you are saying you can infact get the tech + sport packages on the SV for that cheap, is it possible a lease on these could run me high 200's/low 300's per month with a firm down payment.

FYI....

If you have VPP....

Right now, you get A plan pricing plus the 2500 cash back.

That makes it a nice starting point for negotiations.

Its funny, but not all dealers know that. Many are willing to go below once they start competing.

Hi, I am on my way out the door to pick up a 2011 Maxima SV with sport package and the add on extras like floor mats, etc. for a overnight test drive. My question is,will this be a good deal?
2011 Maxima SV, sport package, floor mats, one year oil changes and car washes, I can't remember the other dealer add ons right now. Sticker 36852. Down to 30652. with 3000. rebate added. Trading in ex cond 2009 370z touring with added spoiler and 15500 miles. They gave me 25500. for the Z making a trade difference of 6369.00 out the door. Is that a good deal or should I push for more?

If your trading in the Z, why dont you just pull the bumbers until it stretches out like on the comercials lol.

No but seriously it sounds like a good deal.

Just bought mine last saturday... Sticker price $41,774 every package but sports. i didn't want 19's and a stiffer ride. I paid only $30K out the door with ttl. they have a 7,000rebate on it and 1,078rebate for military. Look around before you buy.

Traded my 2004 350z in for it too. Those cars are quick with the proper setup and look pretty clean; but thats about it... they suck otherwise.

One heck of a deal I got SV + Premium [Without Premium Tech for 500$ more] Looks like there was additional 1500$ after a day or two I bought it. Damn I would have got Premium Tech. Enjoy the Ride.

This is a really good attitude and one that I need to adopt. I'm still going through analysis paralysis even though I know I want a new Maxima.

I just bought my 2011 SV with Premium and Premium Tech packages with 90 miles on it. I paid $32,555 before TT&L on the beast. Purchased at Bankston Nissan in Lewisville TX. Good luck! No trade in or anything either. Also got the loan amount down to 1.94% thru Nissan's bank for 60 months. Gotta say I got a pretty good deal. Sticker showed $40,355.

Just got quoted $29,300 out the door for a 2011 S. Is that good?

Dealer offers free lifetime warranty.

I was looking for 7th gen used, but I can get a new for just a little more and better finance rate.

Well, I pulled the trigger last night on a 2011 S. White w/charcoal interior.

The first quote was over the phone and they were figuring the VPP incorrectly. I had to show them how it worked. They were not taking the discounts off dealer invoice.

So with VPP and current rebates your looking at $4500 off dealer invoice. schweeeet!

Drove it home - $25500 before taxes ($7250 under MSRP). The new additional $500 rebate helped some!!! I think it is only avaliable during this holiday weekend. ............and got a 2.14% rate for 48 mos! And a lifetime warranty from dealer!!

You can not get a used 2010 for that.
