Post 20x10?

hey fellas.. i wanna go 20x8.5 wheel in the front and 20x10 in the rear with a 40mm offset all around.... can i make this work on my 2009 maxima!!!?



please need advice asap as i would like to order my wheels!!!

Would'nt you want to put the 20x10 in the front? Since its a FWD, or even better yet put 20x8.5 on all corners.

I don't understand putting the bigger tires on the rear of a FWD car. I thought the offset for the '09 was 50mm. Be sure to turn your VDC off permanently, as this suggested disparity could wreak havoc with that system.

Be aware that if you make these changes, your will have a car designed for show, not driving. I wouldn't try to get that combo any faster than around 70 MPH, because you will have lost your stability control (VDC), and your combo is not at all what this chassi was designed for.

squash the 20x10 in the rear.....u do have a point there...... so ill go with 20x8.5 all around....?

yes 20x8.5 245/35/20 tires

dont do staggered on a fwd car, its just a waste of money in the long run.

Very wise. With the same size all around, you can turn your VDC back on and drive as fast as you like. I bet your baby will look good.
