So I emailed greddy inquiring to see if they made an exhaust for the 09 Max yet and they said that they haven't made one yet but are looking for anybody in the Southern California area with a completely stock 09 Max that they can fab up a prototype on. Anybody know anyone in that area?

 

Whats the deal for the person that prototypes for them? Do they get a discount on the exhaust or is it free? I ask cause i'll look around and see if i can find anyone on any of the forums that i'm on.... I live in CT otherwise i would be all over this deal. Sux that they dont have anyone out this way.

 

I will email the guy back and ask him. Either way that would still be way cool to have a prototype exhaust, free or not. I will post what he says as soon as I get it.

 

screw Greddy go with Cattman, I created a thread about interest for an exhaust for the 7th gens. Greddy's aren't as loud as cattmans are.

cattman??? dont even know dem and i wouldnt get parts unless they are known, like greddy!!!!!! hopefully someone lives in so. cal get on that so i could get my exhaust already!!! i live in frisco, wish i live der!!!

 

Back to the topic at hand...

The guy emailed me back and said "Once the tests are completed and the production units arrive for sales, a free production unit is installed for free on the test vehicle." Hope that gives someone an incentive to go.

 

To Bad I live in Miami. I use to have a Greedy SP2 on my 00 Civic Si back in 2000 and I loved it. They usually do some pretty good exhaust, and as for Cattman well they do some good quality work but usually on the Cat Conv so not sure on there exhaust systems.
