Drivers Seat moves back and forth

Okay so I've heard this is a common thing in the new 09 Maximas but I want to confirm it here.. My drivers seat is very weird and everytime I take off the seat seems like it goes forward and when I stop it goes back. It's not a lot of movement but I can definately feel it and it is annoying!
Anyone else have this problem ?? Is it warranty issue or what's going on.

thanks

Check this thread out: here, alot of people seem to have this issue. Personally, I don't really notice it... If it happens in my car it hasn't gotten bad enough to be annoying yet.

Doesn't happen or hasn't happened "yet" in my car but I did have an issue with the Phantom Rear Window and some Ghost of Nissan rolling it down even though I didn't touch any buttons to do so.

Mine is currently at the dealer for this problem. They said they have found a fix for it, lets see this is true. If it works, I will list all the part numbers of the items replaced.

Riding around in a Rogue for a loaner car, lol!

is this the same "over 50 mph shake" in the drivers seat too everyone has been saying they have?

I do not have the shake at 50 mph(Thought that was the passenger seat). I just have the rocking back and forth with acceleration and stopping.

No, it's different. The passenger seat vibrates when unoccupied; the driver's seat rocks back when occupied.

I looked at my seats yesterday to check their relative rigidity, pulling sharply forward on each just under the head rest.

Pulling the passenger seat, there was almost no movement and it felt very solid and firmly anchored.

But pulling on the driver's side produced some appreciable movement, and it felt relatively loosely attached. It wasn't just the seatback; it seemed to be the entire seat that moved, it if it was not firmly anchored to the tracks. I couldn't see where it might be loose, I would need a helper to tug on the seat while I looked underneath.

Take it to the dealer OP. They say they have a fix for it now.

Just to update everyone, I took a long trip after getting the seat fixed and it was rock solid. No more back and forth. The fix gave me some renewed interest in the car again!

Any chance you can scan and post the final work order? My car is going in next week for the passenger and driver's seat issues and I'd like to get it done the first time.

I will take the receipt to work to get it scanned. There really is no extra info on the receipt. It states the problem, authorization, and the part number. The part was listed at over a $1,000, yikes!

I put the part number in at a Nissan dealer parts department and the price came back as Your Price: $1,059.48 and is described as a frame assy.
