I was just wondering if anyone re-wired there fog lights to come on when the parking lights are on? i dont understand how they allow you to do this with the altima but not the Maxima.

I did a mod once on my Pontiac that when in "high beam mode", the low beam lights and the foglights both also came on. So I had all three sets of lights lit up.

I was thinking of trying to do this in the Maxima as well.

It's basically a jumper wire with a diode that jumps across the fog lamp and high beam relays. Now if only I could find them in this car. It's hard to get to the electrical innards of this car.

....And yes I already know that there may be issues with my local laws.

I would love to have the fogs on with the parking lights as well. The whole parking light setting seems pretty pointless to me otherwise.

I wish the dash had an indicator to let you know when the foglights are on. It says we have one in the manual, but that was a misprint, held over from cut and paste from another Nissan Manual.
