custom grill

Im thinkin about makin my own grill out of diamond wire woven mesh, this stuff http://www.customcargrills.com/products.asp?id=46 looks damn nice! I want to use the oem grill's chrome border since it can be seperated from the stock grill itself, but does anyone have any idea if and how the steel mesh can be attatched to the plastic border? I'm clueless in this area. Thanx in advance.

heat up some thick copper wire, stab plastic border with it, bend wire as a hook, install wire mesh, drink beer - profit

I am totally unfamiliar with use of copper, will stabbing the plastic melt the copper to the plastic or go through it?

While smoking a cigarette at work, I saw a white 09+ Max with what resembled a strut grille similar to the kind they put on the Range Rovers. i thought it make the front end look awesome.
