Mind you my headlights are tinted slightly. But here are a couple shots I took with my cell phone. It looks way better in person.

I got pulled over early this am and got a ticket for my hid low beam and fog lights. The state trooper had a issue because the lights were blue and thought i was trying to look like a cop. He said prove they are legal or change them.

state troopers are a pain in the *** man i would either A pay the ticket cuz its only a fix it ticket and leave them or change the low beams to stock again show the court u changed em they wil drop the ticket and then wait a few weeks and put em back in thats what i always did when i would get HID tickets but then again im in new york idk where u are so idk if that is the case

I live in North Carolina and go to South Carolina frequently. I ordered some crystal white and when they come in I'm gonna swap em out. The cop was like when you got behind me I felt I was the one that need to pullover. On the ticket he wrote use of a blue or red light for non law enforcement purposes.

I put 6k in the lowbeams & 3k in the foglights; I wanted the stock Lexus appearance/look with the pure white HID headlights and the yellow foglights. I got my kit from a guy on Tampa Racing who sells them to that entire site & it came with all 4 bulbs, all 4 ballasts, all mounting hardware/zipties/etc, and was completely plug & play. I paid like $135 for both kits shipped to my door, which I thought was a great price for plug & play kits shipped. I installed them in about a half-day w/a buddy of mine, as we had to remove the entire front bumper cover & headlights to do this install.

Need to get some better night time pix for posting, but this is what I got for now

Here's the place I ordered mine:

http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/izzyaccord-hid-kits/

He was spot-on w/telling me the colors, the bulbs I needed, and delivered on-time, quality product, and had good customer service, too!

Just got my set of Notto hid's delivered today. One for the headlights & 1 for the fogs. Any tips on getting the bumper off? Anyone able to get to the headlights without taking the tires off? Thanks

You can easily get to the back of the lights without removing the wheels. Just turn the wheel all the way to the opposite side of where you are working (ie turn to the left for the passenger side and to the right for drivers side). There are 2 pop fastners holding the wheel well above the tire and then 2-3 screws under the bumper at the corner holding the fender liner to the bumper itself. Undo all those and the fender can be pulled back far enough to work. I used some string to tie the fender back while i installed the lights...worked like a charm...

goodluck

I got mine from the stealership as well. Mine came out to be about $250, and the best part was that it came with the OEM fog light button for the interior. My buddy has a regular toggle switch to turn his on/off but the OEM button is a much cleaner look.

@STARR: Thanks and that is in fact my MKS. I don't have the ecoboost but I sure like the car. The 3.7L is more than sufficient to get me into trouble.

Very nice, congrats on your new ride, in my book it is one of the best looking cars on the road, and your front end looks great in your sig

Do you guys think this is a good deal?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/09-11...item27bc79291c

For a little over $160, they're selling it as a "bundle" package. I'm still debating as to whether or not I want 3000k or 5000k (to match my headlights).

It depends on your taste. The 3000k would help me see better though.
