Impressive Bose System

I usually listen to a varies selection of music. Sometimes when I’m on lunch break I like to really feel the Bose system. So I figured we can start a list of songs that you feel your Bose system produce the best sound. Most of the time the bass level is in the middle or two bars more to the right. Treble is in the middle. This way maybe we can experience different sounds for the Max’s beautiful sounds system. I was really impress on the bass the system produces for some of the songs while almost on high level.

Lady Gaga’s, “Dance in the Dark” The Fame Monster.
Mario’s “Break up” D.N.A.
Phoenix “1901 “ Wolfgang Amadeus ( The Cadillac commercial song)
Faboulous “Breath”

I have had actual physical pain in my ears for 48 hours since I sufferred a Bose-inflicted accident in my new Max. I had my MP3 player hooked into AUX IN. I guess the volume level on the MP3 output was relatively low, so I jacked up the volume on the Bose for regular listening. I stopped at a store and unplugged my MP3 without making any volume adjustment. The Bose automatically kicked over to XM at full blast and now I have pretty much destroyed my hearing. Be careful with that!

I am glad some folks like the stock Bose system. I was disappointed, having been quite satisfied with the Bose system in my G35 coupe. I found the low-end a bit lacking and installed a JL subwoofer. I plan to replace all of the Bose speakers with JL component speakers.

That said, a couple of my favorite songs for putting a system through its paces:

"Vicarious" - Tool

"Signe" - Eric Clapton

I am not satisfied with the stock Bose system, but I had an Audi A6 previous that had an awesome system, so I am spoiled I guess.

2010MaxSV,

Just got my 2009 out of winter storage (2000 miles on it, looks identical to yours, which is to say gorgeous) but I was reminded that the Bose is just awful. We only drove it a bit last fall and almost immediately wondered what could be done to help the sound system. Short of an HAL 9000 lobotomy (which I'm considering for the car), not much. Makes me think I should have bought the TL, butt ugly as it is. The Bose in the Max just sucks, big time.

Thank you, it's Crimson Black. It looks awesome. I was worried it would be too purplish, but it's really not. It's sharp looking and a change for me. I've had a black car the last 11 years.
