coil overs

Hi,

On another thread I asked about acheiving a lowered look, but without the rear being lowered too much.

Kmoney suggested coilovers.

I was quoted for the Tein Basic coil over at:

Tein Basic - $954
Installation - $300
Alignment - $100

How does this sound?

Anyone have some good, affordable options for coil overs? Anything to watch out for when dealing with coil overs?

Thanks.

sounds too cheap, usually a solid set of coils costs anywhere from 1200-1700, make sure they are good quality, remember you are dealing with you cars suspension here and its not an area that you want bad quality parts

Tein is one of the biggest names in suspension, last time I spoke with them they did not have anything for the 09+ Maxima. Check out BC Racing coilovers, they got good reviews as well.

I was actually going to say as well that Tien doesn't make anything for our cars.

My D2 racing coilovers will save you a ton. You have a 36 way adjustable suspension with the ability to lower 3". There 897 shipped and already installed and ready.to go so if you know a few things about cars you can install these yourself with no special tools required
