the 7th gen rocks!
What would have been helpful is if everyone could have told me how much I'd be spending on modding the Max after getting it. I had no idea it would be this irresistable to modify a car.
1; rims( havent decide the design of the rims) will post some photoshop of the rims on the rims section
2. adding wind splitter to my front lip to prevent scratches due to my driveway clearance
3. adding a few other colors to my demon eyes and lastly
4. modding our OEM fogs with my halo projector fogs. i dont know how i will do that but am up for the challenge... hehe
I'm with you. What a fantastic car.
I'm new to the site but I browse it regularly. I sense a mix of effort with the car--mods for looks, mods for performance and some that seem to wish they could keep it a sedan but turn it into a vet. I know it's not the fastest car, and I know it's not a 80K BMW or Merc, but it is one heck of a car. It's a fine ride on the inside, it has a bit of an exotic, pumped look on the outside, and it kicks when it hits the road. I live in the country and I have some nice twisty roads around me and I'm real impressed with how the stock car stays with it. I have romped around some curves that make your hair stand up and she hangs right in there. The CVT--like it. In manual mode I can keep the engine where I want it, and get aggressive with the petal and the brakes--the car takes to it.
I've got one thing I'd like to do to the car. A friend was showing me around his vet the other day. That car has valved pipes. Stock, it opens the second set at 3500 RPM. He's got a switch to open them at will. Really cool. If you want to hear your car, open them up, want to cruise in quiet, close them. Has anyone done that to their car? I don't know much about exhaust mods, but I believe most are fixed.

Greatest driver leg room of any car in the world. Trust me. I looked at every car there is (with the exception of REALLY high end $$ vehicles I would never be able to afford) and there was no better. I splurged and went with the SV for the sole purpose of getting the manual thigh support. This car is a freaking dream to drive. I have spent my whole life bending and folding my legs into all sorts of cars. Thank You Nissan for the Maxima!
I'm a taller guy 6'2 and love the overall cabin space. I've been driving camry's the last 12 years so the Maxima gives me that FULL Size feeling along with heart of a sports car. My wife and I just can't stop fighting over who's driving to dinner every night.
