NICE! Craziest rattle coming from rear

Didn't expect this to happen so soon or ever but I got the craziest rattle coming from the roof or rear deck of the car. I can be accelerating and the rattle starts. Sounds like the roof glass touching the rear glass but I dunno. Just tight man.

I was chatting with some other folks that had an "odd" rattle. Theirs had a broken component in the trunk latch area. Didn't affect operation but was extremely annoying. Just a thought. Troubleshooting mystery rattles is always tough.

I'm gonna put a sponge when I get a chance between the roof and the headliner like I seen in another thread. If it works then it works, otherwise I am just gonna turn up the radio lolol.

I picked up my Maxima 48 hours ago and I am noticing a rattle from the back. It sounds like a license plate frame rattling, but I don't have a plate or frame on it yet??????

By the way, this is my first post.

You've got the premium package so your rear seats are fixed. Mine have a latch and fold down. I was thinking the seat latch may be loose. I don't know how the bucket seats are mounted but might check them to see if something's loose.

Just left the dealer after picking up some parts for a customer. Apparently its common in the Murano's also and they've been replacing the entire roof glass all together. I'm gonna have to bring it in one day get the TSB for the sway bar bushings done and this. I'll give you guys an update hopefully they pay for a rental. First I have to bring it to the body shop someone gave me a love tap in BK.

Elmo, I just got my car back from the dealer today. I was experiencing exactly what you described. Finally, my third visit in for this problem and it is fixed! I asked to take the technician for a ride so he could hear it.
At first they re-attached the third brake light because it was loose. Second time they adjusted the rear deck lid by the third brake light. Third time (fixed) there was something loose where the headliner meets the back window.

Hope they find it for you, it was quite annoying for me.

Thanks guys I'm gonna try both at my shop tomorrow, I really dread losing the car for a day lolol. I leave my house at 6:30 and get back at 8 so it would stay at the dealer over night. Thanks again guys.

i never had any weird noises until i dropped the car....and you know my **** sits LOW...but that comes with modding.

i would just take it to dealer and get it resolved rather then trying to figure it out yourself
