Guys with 22 x 10.5 rear wheels step in!

Ok I was looking to do a staggered set of wheels but when I called the wheel manufacturer they said there was no way I could put a 10.5 inch rear wheel on without making modifications to the car to make it fit. Is this or is this not true? If it is then what did you have to do in order to get them to fit? If not what size tire and offset are you running? Thanks in advance.

I have heard 10.5 wont fit by my boy who order some from wheels, but Im not 100% I know for the 22 I ordered they wouldn't let me order that setup. I could only do it a 20.

22x10.5 no go

I was told the same thing. Told it would rub the inner part of the suspension. With a 20x10.5" its super close, I got maybe a 1-1.5 inches of rim and suspension clearance. I bet you would get some fender rub too. My 10.5 is right at or 1.8' ouside of the fender as it sits. Thats also why I had to go with a 185/30 on the rear so the wheel tucks under the fender if ever goes that high, like when pulling into a high angle parking lot or drive.
