20" wheels & drop and ride quality

I want to hear from all you guys that have 20" wheels and have dropped your Max. I am getting 20" Nurburgrings and 245/35/20 Kumho Ecsta 4X put on tomorrow or the day after and am kind of concerned about ride quality. I have a wife and two young kids who ride in the car all the time, so I'm just worried the ride will be bumpy.

First, what is the ride like with just the wheels/tires being bigger and second, what's the ride like after the Max was dropped? Thanks in advance for the helpful comments.

IMOP.....less with just the drop. More with just the 20" wheel/tire. More + with both.
So what are you starting with stock wise...the 18" or 19" sport set-up?

I have 20's (peep the sig)and got them installed last week. Compared to my 18's, I feel every bump and to me the car feels heavier. I live in NJ so i try my best to avoid pot holes... i drive like im drunk sometimes..

I have 20's and an Eibach drop. Did drop with my stock 18's and It was a little but stiffer but still was a nice ride. With the wheels it is noticeably rougher but I'm in AZ and most roads are taken car. And my wheels are pretty lightweight, close to the weight of my 18's so I don't really notice that they are bigger when it comes to performance.

Ive been wondering the same thing. But i think you should be ok as long as the weight inside isnt too heavy and how low do you suppose to drop? .5-1"?? Max amount of people id go with a 1" drop on 20" would be 1 Driver 1 Adult and 1 Child... I plan on using the Full Coilover Kit so i can adjust as needed. Good luck and post your results!!! I could use the feed back

Is a 1.3" front and 1.4" rear Eibach with 20's and had 4 adults in my max once with no issues.

You should be fine with that setup. Just don't have 5 people in the car, with the trunk loaded down, and go 50 over dips and speed bumps, haha

Me too. I haven't dropped it yet but will probably keep the 18's either way for now.
The 20's do look really good on this car but in general are heavier than what I want to run.
I think 19's are good yet there seems to be less tire options available than the 18 or 20's.
