Anyone Have a Feel for the Used Market Right Now?

I'm in the process of trying to find a nice used SV w/ Sports Package. Do any of you have a good feel for the used market right now. I know it's somewhat regional, but what should I expect a dealer to come off the prices I'm seeing online? Just looking for opinions.

Thanks.

It depends on the year but I've seen some '11s going for mid-high 20s now. You may be able to pick up an '09 for less than 20.

I bought a 2009 SV Sport with 33,000 miles about three weeks ago in Lexington, KY. I paid $21,500. This was a very good price. The car was advertised on autotrader for $23,500. I shopped a few other 2009 SV Sports with similar miles all over Ohio and Kentucky and couldn't get any dealers to come under about $23,000. I'm a former car salesman, so I know how to negotiate a good deal. Some of these guys were telling me they had as much as $24,000 IN the car and so couldn't come down much. The 2009 is a great buy right now because the 3-year leases on them are all ending. That means private one-owner vehicles with low miles are available. If you're looking at 2010 or 2011 models, you'll likely end up with a corporate fleet vehicle or former rental.

Just bought a 2009 Nissan Maxima S with 23,000 miles from a dealer in upstate NY. it was listed for $23,600 on the website and were told that the price was firm. after about an hour and threatening to leave, we got it for $21,300
