Borla catback installed

Wow, exactly what I was looking for. Not annoyingly loud, definitely not stock sounding like some say. Nice deep tone that does not drone and can open up when you want it to. Goes great with the Takeda intake. It's amazing and music to my ears. I've noticed a nice little boost in performance. I guess there is a breaking in period, am I correct?

Anyways, here are some pics. Solid construction and no rusting a few years from now is a plus. Go get one if you are still debating it, you'll love it.

looks great been thinking of going with the Borla also... one question do the tips hang lower then the stock ones? Yours looks basically like stock but I have seen some here that it looked like the muffers were hanging lower which kind of turned me off to the Borla

Very nice. Did you mention before a y-pipe with this exhaust system?

P.S.
You obviously maintain your CrimBlk exterior very well. The wife comments to others I spend more of my time keeping the max washed/waxed than I do on her.

When I looked at it at first, I thought it looked lower. But when I looked at it some more, it wasn't, it just looked that way because the stainless steel on the muffler bodies stood out more.

It's a perfect fit IMO. Really sharp looking.

The stillen piping looks lower in my opinion than your borla which is a plus for whoever is dropped. I'm stuck with my stillen exhaust with the rusting but it sounds nice at least Congrats on the borla purchase.

It could be a new model from Borla? I don't know. Maybe they also fixed the mythical sounding like stock myth while they were at it cause it sounds 10x better in cabin.

Thanks, does a ypipe make a huge difference. I don't even know if I want to spend the money on one. I'm happy as it is.

The other ypipe, not the one that splits the mufflers.

yeah did you use a y pipe or just leave it stock? also what about your resonator? did you keep it or bypass it with a straight pipe?

No added ypipe besides the one it came with in the kit. The resonator is still intact. Was put on just how it came in the box.

Btw, it's back on sale on Amazon for $859 with free shipping. Jump on it before it goes away again.

Racingline is the only manufacturer of the 7th gen Y-pipe that I know of.
I have it installed with the stock exhaust currently. Haven't pulled the plug on the rest of the exhaust system yet but the Borla is at the top of my list.
