Yup. Xenons are more of a "factory" name and HIDs are more "aftermarket".

Ok, I got my new fog bulbs in and am very happy!! I got the Nokya Arctic White Stage 2 H11 bulbs (7000K 80W). They are damn close to my Xenon headlights. I snapped some pictures... the first is before, the second is half way through with one new fog and one old one, and the third is with both new fogs. The 4th and 5th pics are the old and new fog lights shining on a white piece of paper to show how different they really are. Enjoy!

Looks really good. Don't even need to do the HID kit really.

Wow that looks really good gofastgt!! I Just ordered the same bulbs as you because I really didn't feel like doing the whole fog light conversion to Xenon and for fog lights I just care about the look because I don't depend on my fogs to provide much light on the road. Thats what the headlights are for! So now my headlights will match my fogs too. Thanks!

Yeah I'm really happy with the match! Not worth the money to convert in my eyes... I don't need them for much light either, just want them to match in color and provide good light right in front of the car.

I bought the fogs that someone on here suggested... should I have gotten 55W instead?

Hello everyone, I'm new to the board but a proud new owner of a 2014 Maxima SV with sport/tech package. Sorry to bring this post back from the dead but I was wondering if installing 80w bulbs into the fog lights is gonna do any damage? I purchased the noyka bulbs listed above and I am questioning on installing them. Hey gofast, any problems with the bulbs after the install? Please help! Thank you and be safe everyone
