Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum. Tomorrow I will be a former 09 Accord Coupe owner and will be picking up a new 2012 Maxima. I want to replace the Map, Dome, Glove Compartment, Visor, Trunk, License Plate lights and any other lights I would have to replace with LED bulbs. I looked on the internet and for some reason I am having trouble finding which bulbs I need. I don't know how to search on this forum as of yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

 

They are all 194 bulbs except the visors. I haven't done those.

There are so many. Which one? LOL sorry to be a pest but I don't want to get the wrong one's. BTW I'm looking for a superwhite.

 

the bulbs on the visors are "vanity lights" i havent seen them anywhere except vleds.com

 

Make sure that if your going to buy LED bulbs for front blinkers get the CK style bulb. Regular 3157/3457 will keep blowing your fuse due to different grounding patter in the socket

Here's the post with a pic of my license plate lights to show the color. I have all these in the interior.

 

One last question...I went on V-LEDs.com and I was looking a the 6k white but there are 3 types of bulbs: 360, flank and forward...which ones do I need?

 

When I bought mine I put 360 in the doors and footwells, and the forwards for the upper four lights and license plate. I didn't change the mirror lights cause they would be blinding when used. Also I haven't changed my trunk light. Its up to you though.. 360's would be fine everywhere too.. It just means there are diodes on all sides and the forward only has one or two on the front..Hope that helps..

 

it totally depends on your needs...

obviously, you dont want a flank bulb on your trunk (unless you only want one side lit)... or a forward facing on your step lights...

getting 360s is the safest route.. but if you know what you need, then it will give the most out of the LEDs and the most out of your money...
