preprogrammed ac is comlete sh..

I have a bit of a problem with the ac system on my 2012 Maxima. The problem that Im having is that when i turn my car on and then the AC, the AC is automatically set to 75F. Is there a way to program it so that it stays at whatever you left it on? The reason for that is that i want to install a viper alarm with a starter on it but the starter looses the entire purpose if i cant have the AC stay on after restarting the car to cool it off or warm it up. Also Im sorry if there was another thread like this, just didnt see one when searched for one. Thanks

I believe i have seen this on the forum before. I see your car is a 2012 and if you have purchased it recently i have read that there is a switch in the engine or cabin fuse box that needs to be flipped to go from storage/transport mode to regular mode. It is something the dealer should have done pre-delivery to you. This is one possible solution... i will try and find the link for you...

By the way I wanted to ask you about your headlights. Where did you buy those halos? Did you do it yourself or someone did it for you? Also how much did the halos alone cost you?

you dont want the halos that I or Funnyman82 have......check out Retrofitsource's Morimoto Xb LED's you need a 70mm size to fit our low beam shroud.

Ya what Ghozt said... I cannot speak for the morimotos as I do not have those but at this point I would not recommend what we have.
I actually had a professional do the work for me.

I have a 2012 and it stays set at whatever I left it at also. Hopefully you will find out the culprit. Sounds like the transport mode switch tho.

staggered custom painted 370z Rays w/10mm spacers in front. i have the viper 5902.

if u want to do somethin completely diff stay away from the Rays, everybody owns them i see these all the time on all sorts of cars at car shows...they're becoming the new Vossens (played out)

thats a clever way of telling people not to use the same rims as yours cause you dont want to see many maximas rocking them haha. but still i LOVE the way those rims look on a maxima. on the other hand im just thinking of putting some spacers on the stock rims and rock my ride stock but painted black

ha, little late for that the Rays are already all over Maximas. the guy said he wanted to do something completely different, so I was just sayin puttin the Z rims on the Max and Infiniti G's is actually fairly common now. but nah man by all means if you can find a set grab em, they pop up every now and then on the Z forums
