Better fuel in Canada

Acording to the EPA we get alot better fuel economy then you guys down south!!2013 EPA Fuel Economy Estimates 19 City, 26 Highway. Actual mileage may vary with driving conditions – use for comparison only. canada we get 26 city and 37 hwy or 10.9l/100kms city and 7.3l/100kms hwy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As says the american amd canadian nissan websites!!!!

The same car will get the same gas mileage in Canada and the USA. Someone at the EPA is confused in converting MPG to KPG.

When I plug in numbers, I get 21mpg city and 32 mpg highway.

This is still better than in the US, but the numbers are all wrong from the OP.

I figured it out. They are using IMPERIAL GALLONS, not US GALLONS.

If you look at their capacity specs, the gas tank is rated for only 76 liters or (16.7 Imperial gallons)

Nissan dropped the ball though. When they cite the mpg, there is a small 2 beside mpg indicating a possible footnote...they fail to define the footnote. I had to look at the capacities to come to that conclusion.
Also, is there a metric mile, imperial mile, us mile, troy mile, nautical mile, and space mile? I just want to be sure we are all talking the same miles now that we are talking the same gallons.

No they didn't, you just either forgot to read the owner's manual or the fuel door.
