Nissan specifically states;

"Use only Genuine NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-2. Do not mix with other fluids.
Using transmission fluid other than Genuine NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-2 will damage the CVT, which is not covered by the warranty."

Also you do not need to change the fluid until 60,000 miles. Why look for trouble by experimenting with different products?

This would be an interesting test of the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. I wonder if Nissan has an exception on file with the FTC?

But to answer the op..sorry, no experience with the product at all.

since this is such a unique trans, unless a company has said they tested their product and it works (and will therefore warranty any damage to your car as a result) I wouldn't touch it. the OEM fluid you need is about $80 for 6 quarts you only need 5 for a drain/fill i dont think its worth the money you save for the risk you're taking personally.

Why the black font on a black background. Very hard to read.

One likely reason - He may have simply copied the dialogue from the manual, which was black letters on a white page. Just guessing.

My old eyes are very poor, but I was able to read it by use of a magnification glass. Of course I also have to use that magnification glass to read normal newsprint. My eyes have gradually lost their ability to make out small print. This started back around age 75 or so.

Another trick that works is just highlight the text with your mouse, usually it changes to different - more readable - background/foreground colors

I don't know about your computer. But if you hold ctrl and press the + it should magnify letters (screen).

Nice info for those who may not have known.

And holding the ctl and - takes things back to where they were.
