HID headlight question

Are the stock HID headlights in 2012 have self adjusting headlights?
Looking to put brighter bulbs in, but have never had good luck installing headlights on previous cars.

Stock 4300k HID's are usually gonna be the brightest, once you start going up the K chart you lose visibility.

I can tell you from experience that the brighter bulbs will not do you any good. The visibility produced by the headlights is determined by the lens geometry. You are basically paying for a different light hue.

Can anyone answer his question? I'd like to also know if it has "self-adjusting" headlights.

I just looked "self-adjusting" headlights in youtube and google and no the 7th gens don't have it. There's a screw behind the headlight where you adjust how high or low you want the beam to be. BTW like Ryan31 said, stock 4300K is going to be the brightest. Going higher on the kelvin scale loses output and gives a blue hue to it. IMO if you really want to go really bright, install 4300K HID for your fogs and retrofit your headlights to be duel bixenon projectors 4300K. Now that would be insanely bright.

theres a bolt on the back that adjusts it. and the OEM 4300k is as "bright" as it gets, the higher temps produce less light

Not entirely true. There's 2 bulbs made by Osram. The Osram CBI which is 5000K and has the same amount of lumens as our stock Phillips bulbs and there's the Osram SVS which 4200K/4300K and is brighter than our stock Phillips bulbs (~300lm)

Here's a comparison thread: Osram CBI vs SVS Output Comparison Pics
