I'm going to be adding an amp for the speakers and and a sub and amp for bass and leaving the speakers stock. My question is since I'm adding subs should I unhook the rear deck 6x9's? It is my understanding they are woofers so I feel like it'd make sense to unhook them, but I wanted clarification before I did that. Thanks.

 

Are you using speaker level inputs to your amp?

 

You could do it either way but obviously you'd lose a little volume with 2 less speakers.
