Did you get the car new or used?

Maybe you had your keys in your pocket and opened the trunk..?

I never take my keys out of my pocket to start the car...never ever.

My keys were in my pocket by themselves.

I bought the car used.

Some of my electronics are acting screwy

It's not real difficult to unintentionally activate the trunk/panic/windows down with this key fob.

Just playing devil's advocate... If your key fob didn't accidentally get bumped while in your pocket, since you bought it used, did you get a carfax? Since you inferred its not just limited to your trunk, might it have had previous water damage?

I received a carfax with it. No damage. It's just little stuff. I think I need to return all settings to default and wipe out the old user settings and start over
