Hey there, just wondering if anyone out there would know if this would work on our 7th gens?!

In short, VERY short.
Heads, IM, CVTC, oil pans, among quite a few other items are different. In the case of this thread, the IM will not bolt up, as it has different mounting holes, 1 due to the fact that it (newer VQ) uses a different IM, and different heads (IM bolts to heads) therefore, they are not backward interchangeable/compatible.
